This Mount is designed specifically to fit the new Aimpoint Acro recently released. Aimpoint has come out with a unique mounting system involving a dovetail.
This system is very rugged, made from 6061-T6 aluminum, and machined to fit the sight angle as well as the receiver angle. These angles are very important although most of the time over looked. They provide a much better contact point so it stays tight and true. The receiver is a casting and needs a 1 deg. wall taper to release form the mold, if you don’t machine this into the mount you’re not going to get a proper fit.
Please note that Acro Mounts are manufactured AFTER they are ordered due to they're slow sale. Please give us 1-2 weeks for manufacturing, we are a machine shop so if we have jobs taking up the machines it may be longer. Please keep this in mind when ordering, thanks!
Please note that FN casts their receivers for the P90/PS90 so the tolerances within the receiver are like snowflakes, no two are identical, and can be tens of thousandths different. Thus fitting a precision part into said receiver will have varying results. If your mount happens to be extremely tight (to the point of beating it in with a hammer), give us a call and we will shave down the sides/repaint it for no charge.
